Study is the one that I naturally tend towards, but I can have mixed results with it. Recently, I have been studying the book of Malachi. Sometimes I really enjoy my time of study and feel like I get a lot out of it. I have really enjoyed the things I have learned about God through my study. But other times I feel a strange pressure. The study time becomes more of a homework assignment that I need to check off my list. I feel that if I don't learn something profound then I haven't really done a good job of studying and so I get an "F" on my homework assignment. I think if I just relax and depend on the Holy Spirit to do what He wants with my times of study, as opposed to relying on myself to make something happen, then the study times will be more consistently better, regardless of what I feel I learn.
